Measuring magnetic fields from the center and the poles.

In this lab, we saw that even though magnets are strongest at the poles, the fields go out farthest at the center. It's helpful to see a picture of the iron filings lab. When you look at the picture below, you see how far out the filings go. Notice that they don't go as far out at the poles.
